Suzanne Feinstein

Suzanne Feinstein

Director of Admissions, Master of Marketing Program

Suzanne joined the Owen Admissions team in January 2013 after spending eight years as marketing director for the Vanderbilt MBA program, Career Management Center and Alumni Relations. Suzanne began her career in book and magazine publishing, earned an Executive MBA from Vanderbilt in 2001, and has worked in senior marketing and business development roles for Athlon Sports,, LEGO and Education Networks of America. At LEGO, she established and nurtured key alliances with consulting firms, managing relationships with clients throughout the world for the LEGO Serious Play organizational development and strategic planning tools and processes. Suzanne loves spending time with her musician husband and their daughter, reading, playing guitar and documenting family history.

Megan DensonMegan (Denson) Nichols

Associate Director, Master of Marketing

Megan provides student career coaching and leads employer relationship development for the Master of Marketing program. Megan graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications.  After graduation, Megan moved back to her hometown of Nashville and joined the staff of Cumberland Heights and later the Vanderbilt Institute for Global Health as a marketing coordinator.  In March 2012, she joined the Owen Career Management Center where she has worked in recruiting and operations, serving as a primary contact for our employer partners for all recruiting activities. Megan has been an outstanding contributor in the Career Management Center. In 2016, we were very excited to have her move into this new role. Megan is a devoted Volunteer fan, but loves attending Vanderbilt sporting events and just about anything that Nashville has to offer!

Tami Fassinger began her MBA career in marketing and product management with NCR Corporation in Ohio, focusing on new product releases and marketing communications. Her recruiting and training expertise includes corporate recruiting and staffing in the consulting industry as a western regional director and national recruiting director for Cap Gemini; executive search work in the technology and consulting industries for MRI in Denver; consulting to the Graduate Management Admission Council in Virginia, owner of the GMAT exam; university administration including EMBA degree and executive non-degree program management, MBA career services and MBA student recruiting and admissions at Vanderbilt. While at Vanderbilt's career services office, Tami co-authored Adams Job Interview Almanac, a popular business career book published in 1996. As Chief Admissions Officer, Tami’s role helps students take a more career-centric approach to evaluating their choice of program within the Owen portfolio as well as maximizing potential career opportunities once enrolled.    

A native of Sarasota, Florida, Tami lives in Franklin, Tennessee, with her husband, two daughters and her dog.  She writes fiction, likes to cook, loves to eat, and spends as much time as possible outdoors or in Nashville's eclectic music venues.

Steven Posavac Steven Posavac

Professor Posavac’s research focuses on consumer and managerial judgment and decision processes, and advertising and persuasion. Current projects explore consumer inference, the role of attitudes in choice, and drivers of consumers’ evaluations of celebrities. His research has appeared in such leading publications as the Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Letters, Journal of Economic Psychology, Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied, Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Psychology & Marketing. His book, Cracking the Code: Leveraging Consumer Psychology to Drive Profitability, contains actionable advice on how to use the principles of consumer psychology to improve managerial decision making and organizational performance.

Posavac served two terms as an Area Editor for the Journal of Consumer Psychology, and currently serves on the editorial review boards of the Journal of Consumer Psychology, the Journal of Consumer Research, Marketing Letters, the Journal of Economic Psychology, and Psychology & Marketing. Posavac was a co-chair of the 2003 Society for Consumer Psychology conference, and chaired the 2010 Advertising and Consumer Psychology conference. He is a past President of the Society for Consumer Psychology.

Prior to joining Vanderbilt, Posavac was Associate Dean for MBA Programs and Associate Professor at the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester. In this capacity he focused on program development, and oversaw curriculum, academic affairs, admissions, placement, and student services.
