Develop a holistic understanding of this complex field of study through MBA-level courses in all facets of marketing – advertising and promotion, sales, consumer behavior, big data analytics, social media, web-based marketing and more. With the tools you gain, you’ll be uniquely qualified to succeed in a variety of specialized marketing positions.

In addition to the broad base of insight you’ll gain from the curriculum, you’ll deepen your knowledge of industries and companies of special interest to you through two immersion experiences. This aspect of the program is customized to fit your specific career goals.

Beyond the classroom, you will benefit from resume-building experiences such as a career trek sponsored by the Career Management Center, activities and events sponsored by the Vanderbilt Marketing Association, and a popular one-week non-credit short course entitled BrandWeek.

The Vanderbilt Master of Marketing program requires degree candidates to successfully complete 32 hours of coursework. MMark students will learn alongside MBA students to maximize interaction and learning throughout the program.

The academic calendar at Owen is based on the module (mod) system. Each mod consists of seven weeks, and two mods equal one semester.
